A120 Marks Tey Interchange – traffic signal fault repairs
National Highways plans to carry out traffic signal fault repairs on the A120 southbound entry slip road from the A12 (Marks Tey Interchange). This work will help keep journeys safe and reliable by ensuring the traffic signals operate correctly.
They plan to complete this work over one night on Tuesday 13 January 2026. They will work overnight between 8pm and 6am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, they need to close the A120 southbound entry slip road from the A12 (Marks Tey Interchange) and divert traffic as detailed below:
- If you need to join the A120 southbound from Marks Tey Interchange, please stay on the A12 and continue south to junction 24 (Kelvedon North Interchange).
- Turn around there and head north on the A12 back to Marks Tey Interchange, where you can join the A120.
A map of the diversion is enclosed.
