Notice of Forthcoming Roadworks

Please see below upcoming schedule works in the area. These are works scheduled in, and others may be added in within this period too. For example, the pavement by the pharmacy in West Bergholt and Wet Lane should both be scheduled in in the first week of December. Any questions, please let me know.

3rd November-8th November 2025: B1508 from Bures Hamlet to West Bergholt there will be an overnight closure (Bakers Lane-Old Barn Road) from 8pm-5am with property access maintained. This is part of surface dressing programme and stud installation.

10th-21st November 2025: Anglian Water will have traffic lights at the Chappel/Wakes Colne cross road for works. Please allow more time for your journeys.

17th-19th November 2025: Mill Road, Boxted will be closed 8am-4pm for roadway and sign repairs.

21st November 2025: The Street, Chappel will be closed 8am-4pm for repairs at the junction with Colchester Road.

26th November-2nd December 2025 Bargate Lane, Dedham will be closed for drainage works.

3rd-6th December 2025: Colchester Road/Halstead Road will be closed 8pm-5am from 100m W of Station Rd/The Street to Adj Animal Training Centre for resurfacing.

5th December 2025: Chitts Hill, West Bergholt will be closed to finish work to install a chute gully.

8th-19th December 2025: London Road, Great Horkesley will be closed 8am-4pm for drainage works i.e. piping and ditching and repairs.

15-17th December 2025: Packards Lane will be closed for vegetation cut back.

17th-19th December 2025: London Road, Marks Tey/Copford near Marks Tey Moter for footway repairs.

5th-16th January 2026: School Lane, Little Horkesley will be closed 8am-4pm for drainage works.

16th-18th February 2026: Langham Road will be closed 8am-4pm for repairs.

16th-24th February 2026: Langham Lane will be closed 8am-4pm for repairs.
