Colchester City Council Residents' Panel

Colchester City Council is reaching out to ask for your support in promoting the Colchester Residents' Panel, which is open to all Colchester residents aged 18 and over.

We're keen to encourage more local residents to join the panel and have their say on the future of Colchester City. Most meetings take place at Colchester Town Hall or Colchester Castle, both of which are easily accessible by public transport.

We've recently reviewed some statistics and noticed that a few wards are currently underrepresented in our panel. We're eager to ensure the panel reflects the diversity and voices of all areas and would greatly appreciate your help in encouraging more residents from your ward to get involved.

The panel covers a wide range of topics that matter to our communities, and with the upcoming Local Government Reorganisation, we'll be keeping members regularly updated on developments and opportunities to participate.

We currently have 450 members, and some of our meetings are attended by our Chief Executive, Pamela Donnelly, and the Leader of the Council, Cllr David King, offering residents a direct line to senior decision-makers.

Please find below the schedules of meetings for the next couple of months.

Residents can sign up online using the link below. Once registered, they'll receive updates and invitations to future meetings via email:
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or suggestions.
